2005 2420 EHSS problem

Doing some grading in a rough area yesterday. Picked up a piece of wire that happened to wrap around the rear tire, then grab the steel steps below left platform and pull them back toward the rear tire. Yes, never saw that coming! Anyhow, tractor stalled. Would not restart. I checked all connections under step platform. Step only bent on outside, all switches, connections seem fine. I adjusted inching pedal cable with barrel adjuster, as it seemed loose. Tractors starts now, yippie! But no hydro trans engagement now, forward or reverse. I am guessing it is a switch of some sort, but not sure where to begin. Potentio switch seems fine, clicks when pedal engaged. Neutral switches in seat and left shifter good. I tried differing the oil pressure, moved the gear range lever to all three settings, nada. I have searched the site for answers, hoping somebody with 2420 or 55 EHSS has had similar issue(s). thanks!!!

Got it. Over adjustment of inching cable. I backed off the barrel adjuster to in betwixt the original spot and where I spun(tightened cable) to. Voila, shes back and better than ever. I guess there is a fine line as far as adjustment goes, as there is very little travel in that cable. Now, to fix my bent step bracket. Oops!
