I've got the 4L80E (basically 400Turbo w/od). Pulled heavy loads with it almost all of the 55,000 it has on it with not one single glitch. I've had it loaded many times to point of converter stall and never seen a tranny hot light. Something must not be right as that is a time proven transmission with good durability. Only person I've know to tar one up is the farmer who farms my property. He pulls 30K grain wagons with his 2500 regularly out of the fields.
