Roy, yes you are correct a happy tractor owner.
Thanks for the reminder about safety. It is a good reminder. One can forget how dangerous something like this can be. However when you have a proper respect and knowledge about it and what it can and can't do and how to operate it safely then you can truly recognize the benefit of it.
It looks like it is going to get a workout soon. I can build a shed to house it and I only need a zoning fee of $25 for anything 200 sqft or less and no higher than 10" at the eaves and the peak can be at 14 feet which is plenty for this project. I am going to make the shed 24x8. I was going to make it 8" at the eaves so this is great. I have to have a 4" gravel base so now the loader will get some work.
The bucket is the heavy duty one with all the holes on the edge but it does not have the cutting edge on it so I want to get that before I start the work. that way the cutting edge takes the wear and tear and not the edge of the bucket. My soil is really rocky so my friend who is a contractor and ran large TLB's like JD 410's told me that his son could do some mig welding on the bh bucket and this would be good for it giving it some protection since I will be digging in a lot of rock.
Any way this is some exciting stuff. Now just to come up with the time in order to do it.
