Rotary Cutter 2005 JD HX14

I am looking at buying a 2005 JD HX14 Rotary Cutter for clipping CRP ground. There are a lot of saplings (some as big as 3"). Does anyone know if this is a good fit for the application? Are these good cutters?

I have an HX15 batwing and HX10. Both pull types. Both about 5 years old. Bought both used but in very good condition. Have not had any issues but only use them about 50 hours/year each. The HX14 will need for fairly flat gound due to its design and could be prone to scalping. I like the domed, double deck. Makes most dents underneath not visible and water/grass tends to fall off the deck.
I do cut some cedar trees with them. Some as big as 4", but go over them very slowly. They will slash through 2" brush with no issues.

Thanks for the info. This cutter that I am thinking about buying is in like new condition and I will only use it less than 50 hrs a year.
