Tractor has about 2400 hrs and transmission is a mechanical shift 12 speed
The pedal started sticking not wanting to engage smoothly which causes jerky engagement, with the tractor running the pedal always comes out but when not running you can engage clutch, release and the pedal will stop about half way out.
I thought the linkage might be the issue since it has no grease zerts.
I took clutch pedal linkage apart, polished the moving parts then greased them.
Adjusted clutch pedal to 5 1/2'' (wasn't far off)
Put it back together and pedal still sticks.
The throw out bearing is the next thing I can think of, any other ideas?
If I have to split this tractor to work on this problem would you replace clutch while in there?
I've never split one of these so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
