2007 Kubota B3030

My rear PTO shaft wants to keep running when I pull my lever back to disengage. I looked for an adjustment point for the lever, but didn't see or missed a place to adjust the lever. My qeustion is: Has anyone needed to adjust the throw in their lever and how do you get it done? "Happy Holidays'

Check to see if your lever is slightly bent. I had a similar problem on my used B3030 when I first bought it, looked in vain for an adjustment, eventualy found that the lever was bent ever so slightly.

I did bend the levers to get the PTO to shut off. I'm not to happy with the quality of the tractor now, when I have to do something like that to fix the tractor. I rather have a part break and have to replace it. That shows me how cheap the control levers are and how Kubota like everyone else skimps on their products. Thanks for the tip.

I was rather surprised also that the lever would bend but since the tractor was brand new to me, i wasn't sure how much force was exerted upon it. I beleive any machine, even those of the highest quality will eventualy show you their weak points. So far (about 50 hours later) I am still quite happy with the B3030.

You might consider fabricating beefier levers or reinforcing the existing ones. So far, I haven't found the need.
