I originally posted this in the general buying/pricing forum but guess I should have come here. I am looking at buying a 2007 Kubota B7800 HST with LA402 FEL, Kubota B2782 front mount snowblower, Bush Hog RDTH72" 3pt finish mower, and Bush Hog RTS62 tiller, the machine shows 270 hrs and is in good condition. The seller is asking $18,000 for the package. Can't find anywhere to get a value and don't want to lowball him or pay too much! I've looked at other posts and the B7800 seems well liked. I plan on using it for clean up, mowing, snow removal, and feeding round bales to the hay burners out back! Thanks
Barlows is considered to have great prices. They currently have a used B7800 for sale. Contact them for their price and then decide. Used Kubota Tractors
The B7800 is a nice tractor - value is somewhat regional but I would expect $12,500 is a fair price. For the Kubota snowblower used $1700-2K for the Tiller $1000 and for the Bush hog finish mower $1500-1700 range. So you have a range from $16,500 to 17,400 with the condition of the machine and implements being the deciding factor. The low end of $16K if its been used and rough and a high end of $17-17,500 if its all like new and stored inside. I would imagine the new price for the B7800 was in the $16K with the loader and probably $6-7K for the implements when they bought them new.
I dont think you would insult the seller if you offered $17K but I would look it over or get some pictures and post them you might get a better reply. You can google the B7800 and also the implements and you will see tractorhouse and other sites to form your own opinion and estimates.
Kubota LX331HSDC (hers) and L45 (mine), RTV1100 (hers)
Carl_NH is correct it is regional. For what it is worth my local dealer here about 6 months ago had a 2005 B7800 with 300 hrs and FEL, it looked in real good shape and he was having a hard time moving it, they were asking 9k but stated if someone made a reasonable offer he would have a hard time turning it down, he stated new prices and 0% focus more people to the new side of the house.
