2007 Kubota RTV900 buying??

As I understand it, they're pretty different machines. The ranger will be faster, smoother, lighter. The RTV heavier, more powerful and slower. Drive both of them and get what you need. Personally, in a UTV, I think I'd want a gas motor. Most of my use would be to fire it up, run it for ten minutes, and shut it down, also, lots of starting and stopping. I'd just feel better doing that to a gasser (or even go electric) than a diesel.

I'm just the opposite. I'll take the diesel in that situation as well as many others.

Only gas engines are my wife's Jeep GC, chainsaws and weedeater.

The RTV has a power dump bed and power steering. Very few others do. We can put well over 1,000 pounds of CR6 in our and it hauls it and dumps it effortlessly. It gets back to what do you want it for.

Well ended up getting the Polaris ranger- came down to price and extras. Plus the ranger was much cleaner looing then the RTV, RTV had rust all over it so it most likely sat outside most its life.

Congrats on the new Polaris. I made the move to a Kawasaki mule, from a Honda atv, for the same reason. The trailer didn't do all that I needed. It was 2005, and I haven't been back on that Honda since. You're going to be glad you made the move.
