Short answer is no, other than it seems to affect 2006-2008 models mostly. But the same IP is used on earlier and later models (I think) so it could affect others too in small numbers. Although only some of the failures were reported here, it's a small number of failures compared to the number of Kiotis sold.

I got mine back today, Kioti covered the cost of the pump, replacement work cost me $260. I think it sounds quieter.
