Wayne-- speaking of silver linings....
1) My daughter's radiator began a slow leak a while ago, and she found her extended warranty didn't cover it. (Guess she won't have to worry about that any more!)
2) She had an altercation with ice and a guardrail a year ago and had one of the ($$$$$$) headlights replaced, which turned out to be significantly whiter/brighter than the original -- and the old, dimmer one was the one broken Saturday!
3) She had a large scratch on the Volvo emblem in the grille, which, since she takes after her sometimes **** Dad, really bothered her. That got destroyed along with the grille....
I asked her if this accident was "planned"--! (No, it wasn't. Boyfriend felt terrible.)
I wondered if it was a new car or not, it will be just like new once they replace all of the distroyed parts. I dropped off our car this morning and the body repair man told me it would be about a week before we would see it back. He hadn't gotten the door in yet but expected it today. He will feather the paint with the rear door and front fender so it will take awhile.
Come Christmas morning it will be like we just got a new car again! Sure your daughter will feel the same way.
After all they are just material things, right?
valley: If you were closer heck I might of done that. Actually the insurancde company was really good with paying out the money and I am sure they will be as good at raising the insurance rate.
