2009 DK35SE Question

   / 2009 DK35SE Question #31
you will find the hydraulics on the Kioti to be MUCH better than MF. I too was a MF guy and now own a DK40se. No comparison. My neighbor has a MF 1540, and though it is faster in the transport mode than mine, there is no comparison in power, weight, and hydraulic capacity. Kioti hands down.

I used Red Line brand additives for all the diesels that came into my foreign car shop in VT and it worked very well. At the time it was the ONLY approved additive Mercedes Benz allowed that would not void their warranty.
These anti gel type lubes/additives reduce the water molecules to microscopic levels the the engine can burn without damage to it from larger water molecules. The injection pumps can be lubed by diesel fuel, EXCEPT when water is in the fuel line and past the filter where it can damage the pump internals.
I say don't use lubricants/anti-gel compounds if you like to risk damage to your fuel system/engine- especially in consistently cold climates. Otherwise use them because you know they have and will work for you.
