2009 Mahindra 4525
I'm completely ignorant of all things related to tractors but I am trying to help find information for someone I know who owns a 2009 Mahindra 4525 tractor that isn't as savvy with using the internet. He needs to know how to hook up a hydraulic front loader to his tractor. The only information he told me (that I could understand, anyhow) was that there are 2 "plugs" present with no text on them? He asked me for a hydraulic schematic or labeled hook-up printout but I can't seem to find it but it could be completely because I'm clueless as to what I'm looking for or the way I'm going about trying to find it.

We'd appreciate any help and I will relay any questions you have to him.

I have not gotten back to him yet, but I really appreciate your speedy response. I have a few pictures I will add of some kind of block or manifold (?) beneath the seat that he directed me toward in searching for information. He wanted to know where he would hook up the pressure and return

Am I making sense? I'm sorry if I'm not.

Just to clarify, does your friend have a bare tractor and wants to add a loader to it?

Just to clarify, does your friend have a bare tractor and wants to add a loader to it?

What does "bare tractor" mean? Does this mean the tractor is missing some intermediary component?

EDIT: After a little research, it seems "bare tractor" in this context would mean there is no "remote hydraulic valve" or "Third Function Hydraulic Valve" installed? I'm going to guess the answer is "Yes, this is a bare tractor" because those pictures (which I have found out to be the Hydraulic Control Valve Assembly )are where he directed me asking me to look up the connections. I'm talking to him in the morning for more information.

If this is the case, is it possible to attach the front end loader without a remote/third function hydraulic valve?

EDIT 2: The larger bolts on the hydraulic valve assembly I posted pictures of earlier are etched with a "N" and a "V." Are these of any significance?

I can find a simple parts blowout diagram for the Hydraulic Control Valve Assembly (as seen here:HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR 5530 MAHINDRA TRACTOR) but no part name labels. Someone else on this forum posted another thread where the assembly looks similar to the one in this tractor here: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...ng/147675-575-di-hydraulic-control-valve.html

I have a feeling he has the operator's manual but not the service manual for this tractor. Do you think it'd be a good idea to ask about this in the Mahindra-specific section of this site's forums?

I hate to double post but I talked to him this morning. He states that it is a bare tractor and that all he seems to need is the parts blowout/diagram of that portion of the hydraulics system. The images at those two links I posted that have the diagrams are not labeled with the individual components. I have posted a request for the service manual/portion of the service manual in the Mahindra section of the forums is that is OK.
