hey neg but me rhino's alot "fASTER". i plan on havein a tyrex and a rtv 1100 before next summer too so that will give me 4.. to put this thread to rest i'm gonna have to get my buddy over here this weekend and load him up with my batteries before i sell them. i have almost 40 right now the way i see it is he should be able to carry 25/30 of them if polaris is right ??right??? that should put him right at 1klbs but polaris says they can carry more so what is the bed cargo capacity of the 700xp? i have well over 2,600lbs of batteries so i have enough to test them out.lol and i'll weigh each battery with my digital toilet room scale to make sure i get it right.lol. so anyone wanna make bets on how the ranger does???

ok guys the specs page is saying 1500 lbs in the bed am i right??? this is a plastic bed. my buddy will probably try it he's crazy enough to do it . so we'll see what happens stay tuned. remeber the video they made of them being able to steer easy with the wheels on the ground and a full load in the bed well i guess we gonna see. i know i wouldn't even put 400lbs in my rhino and it calls forr it.lol. now my hpx i load that sucker down but right now shes on the wounded list with two a-arm bushings that are bad and a tie-rode broke or just about broke . but i still drive her. .

Take many pictures and videos Tommy...

No matter what, I still wish I had a bench seat like the ranger.....

I also bet it does not do that bad with 1,000 pounds. Get much over that, and I bet its bad.

no i go down to cocodrie dulac . i like cat fishin my neck is a little to messed up for the fast pased salt water fishing. i like sitting down on the side the bayou an a sunny day and just waitin for a bite .rather than cast out the line and wam!!it runs off the second it hits the water and it's gone. infact a buddy just sent me some pictures of a redfish run they was fishin after gustav or ike 'i'll load the pictures and post them. there are so many reds you could hook one without bait just cast out and reel it in.lol

We have a 2007 Polaris and we like it a lot. We have a small farm (25 acres) and we use it what I would consider somewhat on the hard side (if things are extremely difficult, that's what the tractor is for right?) but it gets used a lot. We have a factory poly roof, glass windshield, rear screen and the electric dump option. Now...the electric dump seemed pretty hokey to me, but (knocking on wood over here) we have not had it fail yet. We pick (literally) tons of rocks every year and now that we have the Ranger, my wife and daughter get in on the act; we've had the body loaded to the top with rocks and she dragged tail a bit but it handles it and dumps fine. I know for a fact that we've had 1,000 pounds in the bed and it handled the load fine...steered easier for sure, but it handled it. One other thing, we keep the rear suspension set pretty light so I'm sure it would perform better if we cranked the shocks up too.

I'm not sure what the weight is here, but this Alberta Moose Guide hauls some heavy loads with his Ranger every year as well...

Tommy,

My understanding is the its 1500 lbs total. 1000 in the bed, and up to 500 in the cab. That's how I read it anyway
