Please evaluate this price based on new machine for $17K and zero financing.

Both new and used are stock, loader and backhoe only, no mower, no 3pt link package, no extra hydraulics.

I like it. There are plenty of things I can do with that $3000.

So your saying their the exact same machine except for the 30 hours for $3000 less?

I'd take the used every day, plus their more willing to negotiate on used to new. I'd offer $12k for the used. 30 hours is practically just getting broken in and to save thousands is a great deal.

Do you need to finance the used one? I was looking at used tractors (not at a dealer) and checked into financing. I would have had to purchase for cash first and then negotiate for a financing package. Hours mean nothing to the bank, used is used. They figured they would go somewhere around 70% of what I paid. Dealer financing on used was a high interest rate and 24 months. So, I bought the new BX25 at 0 down and 0% including some implements. If you are paying cash on either they have some room to discount. My dealer offered $1500 off if I paid cash on the new one. No deals on the used.

If your financing both purchases for the same period of time (usually can't finance used for 60 months but do so for comparison) there is no real choice, new all the way. 30 hrs isn't much unless it was a destructive 30 hours. New has a full warranty and used will also have a hum haw warranty.
$14000 @ 7% for 60 months is $277.22 = $16633
$17000 @ 0% for 60 months is $283.00 = $17000
For $6 more per month a new one with full warranty. I also believe shopping around (Barlows) you could get that $17000 dropped a few hundred and if so the new could/would be the same or maybe less than the used.
If your paying cash and debt free from paying interest on any other purchases, go for the used.
