Every time I hear or read people saying that these Korean tractors are this and that or are just good for a hundred hours a year, the classic non sense thrown, usually, by green and orange owners. Well, I just laugh at that and think to my self, these people really haven't not seen any of these tractors in person or working. These tractors, with a proper maintenance just like any other manufacturer, will easily work and last the same, if not more, than the bigger brands.
Anyway, I was browsing through OLX (Our Craigslist) and found this ad for a some what local to me 2010 LS R50 with 6840 hours looking pretty much mint. Yes, I'm sure it got a coat of paint at some point, quite a few set of tires but the few plastic parts don't look all that faded from the sun either.
This one, I believe, used a 2.6 liter Mitsubishi S4QL engine. I have not clue on what kind of work this tractor did for 11 years but considering the area where it's at, they have lots and lots of dairy farms, so I'm sure it did some work related to that, from bailing, to planting corn, plowing fields, cutting corn for silage, just sitting on a field with a PTO water pump irrigating the planted fields, etc. I'm sure it did lots of tasks.
The seller is an used tractor dealer and is asking €13.800 or around $16.300. Which I find a bit steep for a tractor with so many hours. In 2010, that tractor new was somewhere around €18.000 or $21.000, give or take a grand. I'm also surprised to see it fitted with R1 bias ply tires. Like 90% of the tractors are sold with R1 radial tires, even the smaller tractors.
