It's a lot of money but few people are going to pay full sticker price for any vehicle. With any rebate and X-plan pricing you usually can knock $10,000 off the sticker. Then if you have a decent trade-in that's paid for you can get a new truck for less than half the sticker price. Still alot of money but no other choice if you want to keep a new vehicle.

you can find a really nice used dump truck for 63k and you can tow any thing,
or you can get a nice running ugly dump truck and a nice half ton.

The funny part is, mine is payed for :D

And, for all the stuff all you guys say, my Dodge has 9 years so far of good service. And it still looks purty.

Dodge trucks looked better 7-10 years ago. Ford trucks looked better in the late 80's thru the early 90's.

So neener neener neener :D

I was thinking more like when the Dodge's and GM's are hooked on the back of all those Ford Wreckers. Or maybe its being towed out of the ditch.

Either way its all in fun. Different strokes for different folks. I personally think GM is by far the ugliest and Dodge has a slight leg up on the looks compared to the Ford. Thats about all the Dodge has though.

Just trying to show some of our brighter members what may be ugly to one is not to another. Some will never learn.

But what about us fellars sitting in the corner wearing the conical hat?

I've been looking all over the net reading as much as i can and watching as many video's as i can find on the new Super Duty. I just came across this one and thought ya'll might want to read it as well.

This article talks about the fuel mileage that the new trucks are supposed to get. I will admit that the numbers they post are hi but if its true that is awesome.
enjoy the read

That article didn't mention what transmission they had (but did mention some dangerous driving practices).

From what I've seen, a manual 6 speed transmission may give 5 mpg better than an automatic tranny.

i agree about the manual transmission but i don't think you can get one with the new 6.7. . . which i think is a big mistake!

Ford and GM only offer the Automatics now days. I am sure Dodge will follow. the days of Stick Shifts are over.

That sucks. Autos are nice, but there is nothing better than rowing gears sometimes.
