2012 Kubota BX2660

It's funny that you say that, my other option I was comparing with the Kubota was an older JD 2210. Its a 2007 with 700 hours, but in very good condition. He just lowered the price to $9200 this morning. I'm not sure how the 2210 compares to the 2025R, but I've seen a handful of them for sale. The BX I'm looking at is a 26 horse but it says it doesnt have any emissions equipment. I'm new to the scene so I didnt know that was something I should have been looking for.

Nevermind, the 2025r isnt what I was thinking it was. Definitely a nice machine but I think that's a little out of my price range at the moment.

The JD2210 is a subcompact too - very similar to the BX - maybe a tad heavier and that price seems in line. As others have said for what you want to do and 7 acres you might want to think a B series Kubota, or the L2501 series is another great machine that doesn't break the bank ($17K with Loader) and Kubota has financing too.

My 2025R was about 21k out the door. That is with a loader, auto connect 60” deck, pallet forks and loaded tires. They gave me 7k for my BX with 700 hours for trade in. It had retained over 50% of it original cost. For me a tractor does it all, mow, snow removal, dirt and gravel mover and sometimes just an expensive wheel barrow. I would say with 7 acres it is a must have item.

Well, seller sold the BX2660 out from under me, thought a handshake deal meant more to him. I guess I am back to looking, I think I'm going to hold out for a B series or possibly the deer. Hopefully I can get something before I finally break down and do all the chores I need down now by hand.

The BX and the JD 1 series are very common tractors, should be easy to find one used.

Ended up buying a Massey Ferguson GC2300. I believe I got a fair deal on it. So far I'm absolutely loving it.
