Yeah - until it happens. D.

For sure. It's definitely a serious consideration, but the budget is the final decision on this one.

My compromise here is that I am going to order a PowrRev transmission package that I think should really help with resale when I am ready to move up into something like a 5093E cabbed.

Did you find out if all the new 5Es are Interim Tier 4?

I'm getting conflicting reports from dealers.

One guy says they are not T4, another said they are Interim T4 and yet another told me they are T4. Lol!

I asked two other salesmen, we will see what they say.

The JD website isn't very clear. All the tractors are going to get it soon.

5085E says interim T4

I wonder if the sub 75hp are still tier 3.

My Kubota SVL75 is 75hp and they went Interim T4 this year. I bought a 2012 model for that reason.

5085E is 4cyl though right?

I do think the 75hp and under E's are still interim T4 or lower. I'll figure it out soon enough.

Like you said, the JD website still says Stage 3A. Confusing.

Well, it looks like my local dealer is going to be the cheapest by around $3-$4K. I was really hoping and thinking some other dealers could get closer, but I guess with the need to order this machine, not many people are willing to deal.

If there was one sitting on a lot somewhere with a few months of sunshine baked into her, I bet I could save $1-$2K more. But with the options I am asking, I do feel like I'm getting a good price.

However, I think I am going to wait a week or two to see if I can get any bites on my 5103 privately. That could make up for $3-$4K off the final price of the deal.

I did get another rear remote added, and a canopy. As well as the tires filled. That all tacked on around $1K.

And lastly, I found out that the 75hp and under E series are NOT IT4 or T4 yet.

Oh, and I got the dealer to add in an extra year of power train warranty and 4 years of on site service. I was happy about that.
