I have completed installation of my heater in my Kubota, B-2920, with an Original Tractor Cab, made right here in, INDIANA. Turned out to a good installation, as I installed it overhead. Now if I can find how to post pictures, I'll show it off. javahjoe, MIO, P K Junky, aka Don Kubota Heater 2.jpg

The complete heater unit is for an Astro Van aux heater. I have it on an on-off swtich, but intend to install a 3 speed switch. BTU's, about 12000

javahjoe. Looked at your pictures on the other thread. This could work in a skid loader also. Where did you find out about this heater? Have you had a chance to use it in cold temps, how well does it work? lt190b

I bought the heater unit off ebay. Do an ebay search, Astro Van Aux Heater. I just look at ebay, and they have gone up in price. Now around $71, but that is for the complete unit. Fan, heater core and shroud. This is a nice unit at a reasonable price. My cab is a soft side cab, and is not weather tight. However, makes it nice and cozy inside, while moving snow. The hard part was configuring the plumbing, and buying the fittings. The inlet and outlet on the heater core are 3/4, and I ran 5/8 off the rad hose, because that was the size of the T. I ordered the heater hose kit, (no hose, just T's) from my Kubota dealer. If I had it to do over I wouldn't order from the dealer. I searched the net and found what I needed, after I bought the kit. As I said, I used pipe to get the coolant by the muffler. That worked out nicely for me. O'Reillys's Auto Parts had most of the fittings, and some were from Ryder, off the net. javahjoe, MIO P K Junky, aka Don

Could you post a pic or two showing where you tapped into the cooling system? Thanks.

I came off the top rad hose with a T. That is for the return. I removed the engine block drain plug, between the oil filter, and the starter. and hooked in the out going hose. Kubota Heater 4.jpgKubota Heater 5.jpgKubota Heater 6.jpg

Mr Gpinthemitten. The engine block drain plug takes a 17MM allen wrench. I bought my wrench at Sears. I do have another T for the upper rad hose, if you would like to buy it. I bought the Tuck-a-way heater kit for my tractor, and it had two T's. One for the top and one for the bottom hose. As you see, I didn't use the bottom T. Thanks. javahjoe, MIO P K Junky, aka Don

They were expensive. I'll sell you the T for $20 plus $5 shipping. For a total of $25 delivered to your door, priority mail. These T's are sold in a kit from Tuck-a-way Heater Co. and can only be bought through a dealer. Tuck-a-way will not sell to the public. The kit sells for $90, and all you get are T's and hose clamps. I'll not be offended if you decline my offer. Thanks. javahjoe, MIO, P K Junky, aka Don

I have more photo's of the heater installation. The engine drain plug, tap. The pipe running between the firewall and the muffler. Had a small leak at the engine block. Took it apart and re-taped the threads, and put it back together. NO LEAK NOW! :banghead: 100_1520.jpg100_1522.jpg100_1523.jpg100_1524.jpg
