It stops fast. Remember the truck is rated by the factory to tow this weight.

One configuration of the new 2015 F150 is rated all the way up to 12,000 pounds now!

I have a 2006 ford F-150 super crew 4X4 with a 20 ft PJ bumper 7,000 axles (brakes on both axles ).Pulling my 2012 Kioti DK40 se(cab) KL401 loader with my 6ft.bush hog it takes sometime to get her stopped as in it will NOT stop fast.Towing specs and getting the weight stopped are two different comparsions.Good luck to you..

In 2009 the brakes were significantly upgraded as F150 towing anywhere near their rating warped brake rotors. In 2012, the front brakes were upped again in response to ecoboost owners towing heavier loads. My truck has just over 70,000 miles and the brakes are just under halfway worn out as per my own inspection two weeks ago.

Well, finally got her home! Went through Uship, awesome experience and very reasonable cost.
This is like driving a Cadillac compared to my Fordson. It has brakes and you can start with the turn of a key!
Now on to attachments and implements...
