For the specifics.... Grab a teenager or 20 something to help you get set up with bluetooth stuff, There is more to it than just buying the stuff. It will all have to be configured to work together and this forum just isn't the place for that.

It's a tractor, they are noisy, cab or no cab, it isn't a car. Put in a cheap pawn shop radio and better speakers, then crank it up. I can't give step by step instructions for that either.

As far as hay work goes, I'm no help. All of that work around me is being done by the same guys who have been doing it for decades so I have not invested in the equipment.

I'm only 5 years younger than you and I figured it all out, you will too.

Well, breadtrk, I appreciate the response. Not exactly what I was looking for as far as help, but I understand. Unfortunately we have no kids and no 20 yr olds around. I had a 125 hp Kubota, and believe me it was not noisy, very nice. I believe it is just the quality of the tractor, with it being noisy, I do not think that was a priority when they built this tractor, also 3 cylinder engine does not help. 4 cylinder and above are quitter, because they seem to be more balanced. You are right about one thing, I will figure it out, and I really do appreciate the response. take care thanks again

I used to wonder the same thing about the nose level in the cab of my LS.
If it's a quiet can you seek then, please by all means feel free to spend all the money you want on a quiet cab. Quiet cabs are for sale with every manufacturer. The only variant would be:

1)Do you want the ability to get up under tree limbs and close to the house. The larger units by weight and height just can't do such things.
2) Then there's the fuel use/fuel storage dilemma.
3) Where are you gonna put that beast? Does your garage or barn entry have clearance overhead.

There are a lot of other issues that'll come to mind but those were enough for me to decide on a smaller unit. Besides, I just don't have a need for a big Ag unit.

Hey Maxifyy55, I am really enjoying my tractor now. it is not a hydro because I did not want the additional power loss. I see you have a grapple on yours. Can you talk about that. 3rd function valve, grapple purchase, cost, where and did you install valve or have it put on. From Ls or 3rd partty

It's been some years now but as I recall the third function valve and joystick mounted switch wasn't offered at the factory. It was however offered by an outside vendor down the street from the assembly plant in NC for what I considered a fair price.
The cost of the grapple I don't recall as it was locally fabricated and outsourced before me taking possession of the unit.
It's a far heavier grapple than I'm happy with but it serves me well. There are so many considerations with respect to geometry on a grape. Travis at EA Attachments can attest to that.
We can chat about grapples at length via PM if you like but as fat as cost delivered and installed, I'd say you'd be doing fine at $1100-$1500 USD.
If you're able to drill and tap the lines? That'll save you some money. Routing the wiring & switch would further save.
