2015 4WD Over-running clutch?

I just got a 2015 4WD (standard transmission), with loader. Pretty nice little tractor to replace a great, but aging grey market tractor.

Anyway, before I sell my other tractor, am I going to need to pull the PTO over-running clutch off my old tractor so I can safely run my brush hog on the new Mahindra?

I'd sure hate to snap the PTO shaft the first time I hook up the mower!

I believe it has on built in. Hook up to your brush hog with out the ORC on. Point it in a safe direction and see if there is one internal. I also think you can grab it with your hand and spin it (in one direction anyway).

It is built in, so you don't need to save your PTO shaft mounted unit off your greay market machine.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but does the 2615 4WD also have a built in over-running clutch on the PTO? I ran mine with the rotary cutter for a few hours this past weekend and noticed a couple of times when I was in really thick stuff or the deck got too low and the blades hit the ground, it acted as though there was a slip clutch on the PTO shaft (which I don't have). And, I thought I even smelled that distinctive smell of slipping clutch. I've hit some stuff (hidden stumps, rocks, etc.) where I was suprised I didn't shear a pin. Maybe the over-running clutch (if it has one) is the explanation.

Your 26 does have an over-running clutch, but it should never slip. It only protects against the mower powering the tractor when the clutch is depressed and the mower is winding down. If you were slipping and you did not notice any huge bad noises, then the likely culprit would be a slipping PTO clutch. You have a two-stage clutch, and perhaps it needs a little adjustment. It sounds like it is out of adjustment or your shear bolt is too tough.
