I just took a look at both the Chevy and GMC configurators, blue not offered as an exterior color?
. . .What I don't like is how low the front is . . .
That is the first thing I noticed also. My Ford 150 has that part bent because it was too low and the front wind damper on the Canyon looks even lower. It also seemed like the engine compartment hood is a bit big for that mid sized truck in relation to the rest of the truck. The wind damper might help gas millage but I would destroy it on the roads out here. I looked at the only GMC Canyon in College Station Texas last week. It was gray, 4-door, 4-wheel drive, short bed, tow package, mid level trim. The price seemed a bit steep at $36,000. I'm going to have to wait till the 2016 Toyotas come out.
I looked at a Colorado on Friday. The lower bumper spoiler doesn't look too easy to remove because the bolts come in from the top and aren't accessible without removing the (oddly fibrous) fender liners.
I wouldnt call gas mileage lousy. Not bad im happy with mine and it might seem overpriced but they hold up really well. Dependable as he%^ and holds its value way better than anything else in its classThanks for looking into that. I was hoping to have more midsize truck options than a Tacoma, which seem overpriced and have lousy gas millage.
The Colorado I looked at had a sticker price of $37,555. If they built an $18,000 regular cab 7 foot bed model I would consider it.Thanks for looking into that. I was hoping to have more midsize truck options than a Tacoma, which seem overpriced and have lousy gas millage.

You can buy a full size truck for $18k.
