I'm not saying there is water but the only way I know of to check it would be to drop the fluid and look at it. I think you would have to have a lot of water in it to see it on the dip stick.
Condensation could cause a little water, operating a cylinder that has pits in the chrome can get water in the system, or a leak in the top of the case. Just some thoughts, and something to check. Good luck with it!
