While using the tractor the glow plug light started flickering for no reason until it went out then cel light started flashing code 24 .
Here is the steps I have done so far to find the problem .
Tested the wires going to glow plug relay all tested good except for the ground side of the relay coil . Relay tested good tried new relay anyway no luck
I ran a jumper wire to ground side on the relay to see if would fix the problem of bad ground wire but didn't work . I didn't remove the existing ground from the relay plug itself just slide jumper ground wire in beside it .
I am thinking the original ground wire may have melted in the harness somewhere causing ecu to stay in fault ? Thinking of pulling the wiring harness .
I also purchased the workshop manual and the blink code 24 is not in there only 21 and 28 which point to ground fault .
Any help or information would be appreciated to solve this problem.
