2016 Mahindra 2538 engine emissions

I was told that this 4cyl diesel has less emissions equipment that other makes in this class ( less that 40hp ).

Is there a certain number of years that this applies to the Mahindra diesel ( ie 2012-2017 etc ).

That don't require DEF & afterburners, etc..

And is there any of those years that are better / worse than others..?

I appreciate any advise.

No tractors under 75hp use DEF. The limits are easier under 75hp and easier again under 25.5hp.

Your Mahindra has a DOC and EFI. The DOC does not do regens like the usual DOC+DPF systems. But it's not really "less" emissions gear: it is designed to meet the same requirements.

The mahindra does not have a dpf filter but i doubt the emissions are any less than other tier 4t tractors.I do like the 4 cyl engine it just sounds better than my other 3 cyl ones do.
