2016 Ram 2500 verses 6 point buck 70mph

Before anyone asks no I did not retrieve the 6 pointer,I was to pissed only have 8,000 miles on my new truck.I will wait for gun season now Nov 15th.LOL

Yeah I still get pissed when I hit a deer at 70 MPH in my 200K 93 Chevy C1500. I hit 4 deer in one calendar year and then I bought some deer whistles.

Never hit another one .

We have hit a couple over the years. Both crouched before impact so they didn't come up on the hood or through the windshield on us. Both were covered with no count against us but I think we had to pay the deductible. I keep $100 deductible so it isn't a big deal.

Got lucky this morning as these two were crossing. The one on the right turned and darted the other way just as I saw it.

My goodness what a tragic story that is.Makes me feel very fortunate just had truck damage.

Coworker had a deer jump through the passenger side window of his Buick suv, his wife was there and jumped into the back seat to cover their son as the deer thrashed around and finally jumped back out.
Deer hooves can do lot of damage, put a hole in the roof, luckily there were no serious injuries.

So far and its been three years no deer with the whistles. Before that I hit 4 in a year and my wife hit two. With whistles on all the cars=Zero

His wife was right when she said to live every day as if it were your last

There was a similar incident in WI years ago when I lived there.
