Did you catch it's avaliable to fleet only customers and no diesel option. They are missing the mark. Can't tell you how many of my boating customers are hanging onto high milage diesel Excursions and one has a older 6.5 diesel Suburban. The want something new do bad but nothing is offered.

I'm guessing that the POTUS has been harping on GM for an "armor-ready" SUV to be used by the Secret Service. Why else would they have an 11,000 pound GVW and basically a 1/2 ton's towing capacity.

It's set up as a people and cargo hauler, not a cargo tow machine.

Meanwhile, my Ford dealer who sells a pile of trucks told me Ford is turboing the 6.2L for 2016 in the F250 and up.

My sales cat also said he is holding off getting an F150 for himself in the hopes they turbo the 5.0L. told him if they did they'd drop the 3.5L in the F150.
