2017 4010 mule front diff popping

took it to the dealer.they said its normal due to diff gear ratios front to back and gave me a service bulletin that says only to use 4x4 when necessary..as if I can anticipate when im going to get stuck. and of what imploding in the diff as the gears are coming unmeshed of the little pieces and shavings going thru the diff brgs

not real happy about it..almost don't want it now..almost 10 grand for it makes so much noise I cant go to my stand in the morning

Sounds if it will blow soon. The warning to use only when necessary means not to use on hard surface.
If the front diff. has a diff lock it may be engaging.
Tell dealer you want to try another one. If he does not attempt to help contact the manufacturer.

we did...they all did it. even had another customer in there picking one up had the same issue. I get the not on hard surface thng but crap man im in a muddy pasture..if it isn't going forward withut slipping the rears then im putting it in 4x4 and then itll start to pop every hundred yds or so. I even got the tsb from kaw on it from the dealer and they say that's normal....

poor setup I tell ya. and it rides like crap but it will be around a long time as it seems to e built really well...not a lot flashy flimsy look cool stuff on it
