2017 V519 project "burnt toast"

The adapter started off as a 18x18x2.5in thick slab of 6061 aluminum. This is the first real part I have designed and machined, so im sure someone could say I should have done this or that but I am pretty dam happy with how it came out.

Oh also I tried out "Rust Bullet" paint off Amazon for the frame and so far it seems to have stuck very well. All the other pieces have been sent to get powder coated crinkle black to help hide any of the pitting that was caused from the fire and then sitting outside for over a year. So far it all looks brand new, and as far as I am concerned it will be brand new after it is all back together.

With this kind of project and having to wait on parts, I decided to go ahead and buy a JCB to use for moving the shelters. I honestly think it will be better for it because of the higher lift, but I am really looking forward to the dirt work and material handling of the Bobcat. I tried using the JCB to do a little dirt work but still think the Bobcat is gonna be way better for that.
