I know I have a different model than you do but mine idles at 1025 rpm. If your manual says for it to idle at 1050 +/- 50 that would make sense. Is there something wrong with your idle adjustment? Seems to me that you may be somewhat flooding it with fuel on start-up.

My 2025R says idle is 1575 +/- 50 RPM. Since your 2520 manual says 1050 +/- 50 rpm, now I know the Dealer gave me a page from a 2520 manual.

I thought you said earlier that your manual said to cold start it at 1050 +/-50. Anyway, different engine, must need a faster idle to get the proper lubrication.
