Thanks for the "heads up", Rock. Is that a warranty issue? I'll be checking mine later today. Something like that seems so unnecessary and seems like Kubota has had so much experience at building these CUTs , that such an issue would never happen. I've had two Kubotas with over 500 hrs without such an issue.

Yes, if you have time, or don't have a welder in the shop, they warranty it. My first one I had time to wait a week, the second broke when I had trucks coming in all day that week and I could not stop using the machine... So I just took pictures, removed it (4 bolts) and welded it back up.
