I'd lay odds on a blend door actuator. Could be bad or disconnected or loose. Must be a reason it works at full cold, but I don't know the specifics of this model as of yet (and I hope to not have to learn them on mine...)
On some vehicles they are vacuum actuated so it could be a leaking hose.

A little more experimenting today heat comes out passenger side dash vents until it's set below 64˚.

I see this on my hybrid car sometimes when I park it at a point the battery is low on charge. I would suggest just giving the battery a good slow charge. Cars have so much electrical load now that if you don't drive long distances at speed, the battery doesn't get fully charged. I charge my F150 every six months or so and it takes quite a while to slow charge fully. It also usually hasn't gone into start/stop mode for the last few years, probably because the battery isn't sensed as fully charged. The truck and battery are about 7 years old. Don't panic. :)

What year vehicle? If the battery is over 3 years old and you drive the truck frequently, then yes, the battery could be starting to fail.
Our F350 sometimes sits in the garage for 2-3 weeks unused and I started getting the notice on my phone in the FordPass App "Remote features disabled to preserve battery" around 3 years of age eventually one of them lost a cell and had to be replaced.

However, I have also received the same notice after the truck sat for 3-4 weeks unused and the truck batteries were on a battery tender and it indicated fully charged.

Its a 19 and has 50K miles on it. Seems it might be a agm in it.

That is one of the criteria that will prevent stop/start mode from working so yeah, you probably have a battery failure looming.

Hmmm, Our F350 is a 2019 as well, purchased in June and batteries had to be replaced 5/2023, right at 4 years.

True, but it seems to be looming very slowly. It's been going on for about three years now.
