2019 JD 3032e will not turn over and display does not light up.

I have a 2019 JD 3032e that will not turn over. I used the tractor on a Friday afternoon spreading road base and trying to beat a storm. I put diesel in parked it and left the fuel cap off so I am sure some water got in. I tried to start it the next morning and when I turn the key you can hear the clicking, I guess the fuel pump, but will not fire. I realized the cap mistake and cleaned the sediment bowl along with about a gallon of diesel. The ring is not floating in the sediment bowl. Checked and cleaned the battery. It held a charge of 12.75 overnight and did not go below 11 when turning the key. The display does not light up so no error codes to report. I did not check fuses yet, I ran out of time. I checked and rechecked all safety shut off features, seat, PTO, out of gear.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Starter just "clicks" ?

If that is so, then suspect the battery. Have it load tested, and if over 5 yrs old then replace it.

I agree, probably just the battery. On the JD forums people talk about battery sudden death syndrome, I don’t know if they had a bad run of batteries or what.

Mine did the same thing. Replaced the battery and all is good!!!

Also check all battery cables, both where they connect to either ground or starter. And also check cables at battery post. You should not be able to rotate the cable by hand after tightening it down. Lead and steel battery cable clamps stretch over time, especially is overtightened.
