If you have 500 hours on a 15 year olds mower that averages 33 hours a year mowing? Probably about 1 hour per mowing session.

For sure you do not need a commercial quality mower!

Needs .....and wants..... are very different things!

It's not always, "What can I do the job with" but " I have a lot of cash, what do I feel like driving."

I had a 40 yo JD 110 and mower 1 acre at my vacation home and a X7X00 JD at my existing home, I never want to drive a cheapo as long as I can work out a quality mower.

I bought a Gravely ZTR years ago with the Kohler Command engine. Was told by a different dealer, after my purchase, that the Command was a 500-hour engine. I believe mine had 499 hours on the meter when it self destructed.

When I bought my Bad Boy the dealer's daughter told me to get the Kawasaki engine because they never worked on them.

Just my experience.

Sometimes you have to look at cost vs duty cycle very closely.

I really like this add here, I agree with this. It's easy to overspend on a quality product when the need or demand is very low.

Does it come with a driver?

It's also easy to buy cheap and expect it to come with a driver, or till a farm, but won't.:)
