65 hours on a DK5320 SE HST Cab. I have all the dash lights working, but no crank when I turn the key to start. Below is what I have done for diagnosis.
1. Seat switch tests fine and will also shut down tractor when in gear and stand up.
2. Brake switches test good and show parking brake light on dash.
3. Can not find neutral safety switch, but shows neutral light on dash and tractor does or does not shut down when out of seat, so pretty sure it is working.
4. Battery pulled and tested fine.
5. All fuses tested
6. Starter relay replaced and swapped with others. No change
7. Ignition switch tested all wires and all function properly.
I am currently starting it by jumping the hot on the starter solenoid to the signal wire post. It starts right up. I have also tested to know that under crank condition of the key, the white signal wire on the starter solenoid does not show voltage. Signal wire at the ignition switch shows the 12.4 volts when turned to crank.
I found today a bit of rust on the PTO relay. I have a new one on order, but swapped it with a light relay to test and still not getting crank.
My next thing to do is to pull the fuse panel and check for moisture/corrosion/loose wires.
I have worked professionally as a DC electric technician, but that was 15 years ago, so troubleshooting is coming back to me, but still rusty.
Any thoughts or ideas from the group on what to check? Any ideas will be appreciated.
