2025r fuel filter

Trying to change fuel filter on above.
Manual says to turn counter clockwise.
It won稚 budge.
Can稚 find a video on line but the 1025 video shows clockwise.
This is the first filter change at 300 hrs.
Any ideas?

My 4300 is like the fuel filter in this 2nd video.. with the ring holding the suspended bowl with filter inside.. this video includes bleeding the air out, but my Deere is self bleeding.

I see that the operators manual for the 2025r says to turn the ring counterclockwise.. but that depends if one is looking down on it, or up at it from underneath. Lefty will loosen it. And the manual shows the filter bowl mechanism as shown in the 2nd video posted. This one traps water and other debris in the bowl which is important.

Thanks. I’ll try that tomorrow. Didn’t make sense when I read it in the manual.

Got it!. Lots of gunk in bottom of bowl.
