I bought the side chain and cross chain from a local parts house, and found them by checking with our county highway dept. to learn where they bought their truck chain materials.
Depending on how much time you want to devote to the task, it isn't very hard work. Just some planning ahead.

Tarp straps or other tightening devices are unnecessary. Properly sized and installed chains don't need them.

Not starting an argument here, just offering my experiences.

I consider beenthere's chains as too narrow for the tire. Maybe if they are installed tight with the tire deflated they'll stay on. All of this considering hard use.

I consider jgayman's chaings as too wide for the tire. No gain. Excess expense. Good thing is they ain't comin off!!!!

I run a road grader. I use tire chains hard. I've only lost one and that was a broken side bar. Here's a pic of what I consider a proper fitting tire chain.

Have had no problem keeping mine on.. and have run them hard in the woods, deep snow, and while plowing for 16 years.
But only hand tight, and not by deflating tire and putting pressure in.
Mine were designed to ride in the scalloped out area of the tire cross bars. The design has been good.

Your chains on the grader tires look good. Cross chains in every other link of side chains help smooth out the ride. Considered more cross chains, but the weight of the chain would get to be too much for handling.
