2166 PTO Clutch

My dad bought a new 2166 about 3 months ago and the bolt attaching the pto clutch to the motor has broken twice. The dealer told him no one else has had this problem. I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of this problem. The design looks to me to be a problem...

Cannot say we have seen the problem in that series but there where fixes for some older models that did have that problem. Who replaced the bolt? Get your dealer to take a good look at it.

The bolt was replaced by the dealer and he now has it again to replace again. He says they are going to go over the system to find where the problem is. We'll try it again and see how long that will last.

Doesn't look like many cub owners, I have a Kubota B2400 and my better half has a John Deere LX255 mower, but I thought cub was a little more popular than it is...However, the dealer claims a faulty PTO clutch, will replace and we will give it a try...
