2200B Blown head - need water pump - for my husban

My husband got a 2200B a year ago and was doing well with it until he forgot to put antifreeze in it. They first thought it was the starter and then figured out he had cracked the head. He and a friend worked hard on it and now he says he only needs a water pump for it. (I hope this makes sense to someone!) I wanted to try and get it for him for Valentine's Day, but am not that savvy when it comes to tractor parts. This discussion forum seems like an awesome place for information and networking and I was hoping someone could help me solve his problem? We live in S.C. He bought the tractor off of EBay for under $3000 from a really nice dealer but he lost the guy's name and number! Anyone have any thoughts? I am very grateful for any help you can offer?!

You could try taking the water pump to a NAPA auto parts store. They can send the pump off to be rebuilt. It shouldn't cost more than $100. Or you could call Fredrick's Equipment at 256-773-9951. He usually has some parts tractors in stock and maybe able to help you. You said the tractor was a 2200B. Double check that model number. It is probably a 2210B.

Check with Hoye tractor, a sponsor here on the forum. they probably have the new part in stock. If not, they are very helpful & can give U some ideas how to proceed if they do not have it.
