2210 2" receiver adaptor question

2210 2\" receiver adaptor question

Just installed a 3 point hitch to 2" receiver adapter that I got from Bad River. I have to raise the hitch 2' high to get the (62mmm) mower deck off the ground. What do I adjust to get the 2" receiver to only raise 1' off the ground and also raise the deck to its highest point?

I'm no expert on the mowing deck of the 2210, since I dont mow with mine. However, I do read this forum quite a bit and learn a lot from these folks here. I seem to remember one of the threads a little while back mentioned a gizmo to hold the mowing deck up so you could do what you like with the 3pt hitch and not effect the deck. Sorry I cant help more.

Raise your deck to the highest point possible. Then, lock your deck in the highest position using the deck height adjustment dial on your floorboard on the 2210. When you raise and lower the 3PH, your mower deck should stay in the highest position. The latch kit is needed only for the 4X10 series tractors. Watch that tongue and total trailer weight /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
