2210 50 hour maintenance

   / 2210 50 hour maintenance #11
I did my first maintenance at 40 hours. There was enough crud in the hydraulics to noticibly slow down the FEL. Overall it was a easy job. Taking only 2 quarts of oil and a filter I will probably always change my oil at 50 hour intervals. Cheap Insurance.

Some fine gentleman posted (and I can confirm) the easy way to get that screen off is to disconnect the whole suction tube (three 10mm bolts and an o-ring). Comes off nice and easy.

strange, mine was held in by one nut and a small metal clip, then just by the suction force of the two O rings (on a 2210), the hardest part was dealing with the small hose and two hose clamps that were connected as well.

Right, I'm saying follow that tube up to where it goes back into the trans. and disconnect it there, THEN deal with the hose and clamps, makes it much easier.
