2210 back hoe

I purchased my 2210 a few months ago with many of the available attachments (loader, deck mower, phd, etc). Also, not long after my purchase, I had gone to this web site to see what anyone thought of the back hoe options for the 2210. There were a few comments about the back hoes available, but no one had really used one yet on the 2210. Now, it seems, I don't see any comments concerning the 2210 back hoe option. Does anyone have this attachment, and if so, is it a waste of money for my tractor or not?

Everybody has their own opinions but I think the backhoes available for these size tractors are very useful. They sure beat digging with a pick and shovel. The Woods backhoe available for the 2210 is very similar in size and capability to the backhoe on my Kubota BX23 and I know my hoe really gets some work done. The biggest drawback I can see to adding the hoe onto the 2210 is you will be stuck with the smaller ROPS that comes with the tractor.

For these smaller tractors one of the most useful features of the backhoe is the ability to break up earth that the FEL might not normally be able to dig into. You will find many uses for the backhoe if you get one. I use mine all the time.
