I contemplated welding hooks on the bucket but decided for these as they were just collecting dust. They have a WLL of 1500 lbs so are more than enough for the 2210 loader lift capacity. I backed them up with a 4" square 5/8" thick aluminum backing plate.

That looks beefy enough. You will bend the bucket before you break them. You will just have to have some hooks on hand when using chain. It is too bad your dealer did not install them. My dealer did it at no charge, or ask to do it, he just does it to every machine. Welded it to a plate then to the bucket. It was surprising to have one project off the list before I could get to it.

You are right -that was nice of him. I just picked up my bucket level stick dohicky that didn't come with it from the dealer. It has been a month since he ordered it.

Those should work just fine. How are you attaching your chain? I use a clevis and hook on the back of my tractor in the BH supports.

Sorry for not answering sooner as I haven't checked this topic lately. The eyes are metric M16 thread with an opening of 35mm. This is close to a 5/8" thread and a 1 3/8" opening.

G'day Fella's, this post is real timely as I'm heading in to see the dealer tomorrow about this very issue & how to sort it with regard to positioning, size, style & construct.
I'll be taking delivery of my first tractor on Friday afternoon & I'd like to get this sorted before then.
How do the Eyelets go as opposed to the hooks on say Anthonys tractor?
I'd like to get some feed back from anyone on this issue.

Regards,
Buzz (Aust)

Oh yeh, in addition to this I've also see a centrally mounted tab which can be used for things like a tow ball.
Any feedback would be much appreciated re: guage, size, position ect.

Regards,
Buzz.
