2210 burning my---

When I start my 2210 the exhaust will burn your eyes. I put a new air filter in it but that did not fix it. I don't think it has Dirty injection nozzles or I would have lost of power.and it has lots of power.What else should i look for.

Vertical or horizontal exhaust? Leaky exhaust manifold? Replaced fuel filter?

When u start it keep ur idle low...about 800rpm. Let it run like that for about 5 minutes. You get the full Yammer Hammer there.... If you try to burn too much fuel before she gets warm up u get some unburnt fuel out the exhaust........

If I'm not mistaken his 2210 is a 3cyl, I sure hope it don't have the Yammer Hammer.

Giamo , smells like unburned fuel to me . Does all this go away when the engine warms up ? Is the smoke white/ black when this happens ?

I would look for a tailpipe for that muffler . Exhaust rises.

normde2001 the exhaust comes out the top.I could not remember what was Vertical or Horizontal .my son said it was Vertical you all will know what I am talking about one day.,.greatrandini I will try that and see if that will work .It is getting cold at night that is when it started. Eddie it is a 2cyl , I could have went with a 3cyl, but wanted that old JD sound.,.Kenmac it dose not smoke White or Black that I can see.I have not ran it long to see if it goes a way when it is hot. I will get a new fuel filter and see what that will do .thank you all.

If your tractor still looks like the picture of 09-06-2006, you need a tailpipe.
