I have a clicking or racheting sound when ever I turn all the way left or right, in both 4x2 or 4x4. It has done this since new and has just over 100hrs now but I was wondering if this is a normal sound. The sound does not sound like it is breaking anything and does not do it every time but almost. I have a guess that it is the bevel gears in the front-end has anyone else notice this?

I thought I heard something today with mine. I will keep an ear to it and see if I really notice anything..Make sure your wheel bolts are torqued on good..Could be a loose wheel..

Probably a stupid suggestion . But from what I've read in previous posts , Check your wheel bolts/studs to be sure they are tight . John

Mine makes a clicking to the right with the 62" MMM. The front tore rubs the spring loaded front deck mount lock. 138 hours and good to go.

Steve, when the 62" MMM is mounted on the JD2210 the standard spring loaded locking pin (flat top) should be removed and replaced with an "L" shaped pin that comes with the mower attaching kit. This pin will not rub the tire. Possibly your dealer forget to make the swap. Take a look.

Did not know that. Guess I will ask next time I am over at the dealer.

Thanks!
