My 2210 got wet /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
It was left out in a couple of heavy and long rain storms. Consequently, the marker lights are on all of the time, also the flashers don't work. This happened once before in spring/summer, but once it dried out, the problem went away. Unfortunately the weather is changing, and I'm not sure it'll dry out this time. Even though it is now back in the in the garage, I don't think it'll get warmed up enough to force the remaining water out of the electrical system.

So has onyone else experienced this?

Can someone tell me where the flasher circuit is located, I suspect that is the source of the problem. I think if I get that dried out, it'll fix the problem.

It is almost certainly your switch. You could unplug one of the connectors at the back, or try a little compressed air on the "weather" side of the switch to drive some of the water out.

That happened to mine when I first got it. It did it without getting wet though. It cured itself the next day and and has been fine ever since.

I bought a 4010 about a month ago and also have a problem like yours. If I turn any lights on with the rotary dial I blow the fuse that in turn kills the engine, any ideas? I have not had a chance to dig into it.

Just a quick update.

We did have some nice warm and sunny weather, and by Saturday the electrical system had been dried out (again) and the problem went away. However, we had a completely unexpected hard rain last night, so I hope it didn't get "re-infected".

This problem is more of a nuisance than an operational issue, at least for now. I suspect if left un addressed it could cause more electrical problems later on. I'd still like to know where the flasher circuit is located if someone can tell me.

BTW, I will be getting the tractor back in the garage this coming weekend.
