2210 oil filter

As I recall, according to the study, some of the FRAM line is ok.
I trid to run the JD P/N trough Motorcraft and AC Delco, with no success. That doesn't mean they don't have it, just means they can't cross it.

It also turns out that the filter is the same one that my car uses. You can ty a 2004 Infiniti FX35 as an automotive reference.

I bought a bunch of Mobil 1 filters, that according to the study aren't worth the money, but are good filters. I am using them in my car, but have not put them on the 2210 yet. I also have some Purolator (pure one?) filters and the best FRAM (again according to the study) that are supposed to be pretty good. I'll use them first.

Thanks for the help!!! I was able to find the Fram filter at my local hardware store last night. I paid 6.50 for it at Ace Hardware. The auto parts store was closed when I got off work so I could not price the Wix filter. I usually pay right at 7.00 for the Wix filter for my 455. I am glad to have found the correct numbers for this filter. Thanks again

Tony
