DonS, first congrats on purchasing a really fine piece of equipment. I am sorry that the dealer is being somewhat of a dumb ***. One of the previous posts mentioned that the lift linkage is not adjusted right and he is dead on. You should have received a manual on the set up of your mower deck and if you did not, the dealer should furnish you with it. It will explain the adjustment proceedure in detail. There is no deck lock up kit for the 2210. If the linkage is adjusted properly and the lift link on the left side is not bent, you should be able to turn the deck height knob clockwise until the linkage locks up. There is a critical adjustment on the lift arms on the rockshaft under the tractor to prevent the lift arms from "bottoming out" on the upper lift limits. If this was not done correctly, the left linkage rod is probably bent and should be replaced (at the dealers expense). /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif As far as the joystick lock out, a good shot of WD-40 in the slot will help. Hope this helps.
PS Next time you call the dealership, you might try talking to the service manager instead of the GM. Service managers are a little lower on the food chain and closer to the problem and solution.
