2210? or bigger

Your right Ray biggest blade for 2210 /2305 would be a 5' blade. If you go any bigger then 5’ you’re either going to break something on the tractor or not be able to push the snow right. The only problem I’ve had with plowing is if you get a lot of snow you can only push it so much. Then the piles start getting to high to plow, and then you need a FEL to pile on top of what you already plowed. The blower spreads the snow out evenly. The rear plow is H-LL on the neck, all that looking over your shoulder.

Thanks Ray. Yes the pull behind blower is out. The erskine needs more PTO power to run it.
Yes far as the blade being to big it will be for light snow only! The RB2196 is only 476 lbs due to the 1/4" molboard so I thought it would be ok?
I have a 5ft for heavier stuff.

You don't think the tractor could pull around a bigger blade if it was light. I won't be using it for heavy application. We have to do these units even if its 1 cm. thought it would be perfect for that.

It might be fine in the really light stuff but it's still a lot of blade for such a little tractor. The practicality of such a big blade may be lost when you try to raise it and it's not high enough to clear obstacles. Also I find a 5 ft blade set at 90 degrees to be plenty wide enough to get me in trouble when turning. The rear blade swings an arc as you turn and maneuverability could be awkward to say the least. On a bigger tractor that much blade wouldn't be quite so far past the tractor and you'd be less likely to get in trouble. I suggest try before you buy on a set up like that. A 4115 and a 6 or seven ft blade would be better suited in my opinion and the tractor really wouldn't be much more difficult to trailer than a 2210. If you are stuck on a 2210 or 2305 even for light stuff I would stick with a blade sized to fit a subcut.

will the tractor pull more snow or less then a front blade considering everything equal?

From my experiences both pushing and pulling with a rear blade I'd have to say that you will move more snow when your drive wheels are not in the deep stuff you are trying to clear. I've never had a front blade but I'd have to guess that a front blade going forward will move more than a rear blade going forward.
